Default 100th Night bus route launched

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/press-cent...t.asp?prID=799
and

The 100th night bus route will run from saturday. It's the 281 between
Tolworth and Hounslow and the route is going 24-hour (the night-time
route is identical to the daytime one).

Also of note:

"The night bus network has expanded dramatically over the last six
years.

Passenger numbers have more than doubled, from 15 million to 34 million
per year.

The number of night bus routes has risen from 57 in 2000 to 100."

I'm a great fan and user of night buses and have really seen and
appreciated the changes over the past few years. More routes, more
frequent services and more reliability. Plus the ending of a seperate
fare structure (night bus fares used to be at a premuim) and the
acceptance of day Travelcards and one-day bus passes has made night
buses more attractive.
