snip Thanks, Sunil, it's appreciated.

Hi John, long time no see.

Movers Lane underpass opened back in March (22nd IIRC), albeit
only one lane open either direction. Two by end of April I think,
all lanes open by August.

New Beckton Flyovers well advanced - should open in the next
couple of months.

Prince Regent is the least advanced (probably st least three or
four months left for this one).

As someone who regularly uses all the sections of the A13 currently
affected by the improvements, I'm very much looking forward to the
completion! Is the old flyover at Beckton going to be demolished? And
what were the reasons for the choices of flyover at some locations and
underpass in others?

No, the old flyover will disappear, quaint as it was.
Canning Town is easy to explain, as there was a flyover here already, and
an underpass would severely mess up the Tube/DLR/NLL station!

Beckton has flyovers because there's plenty of space available, and again
a flyover was already there.

I can only think Movers Lane and Prince Regent have underpasses so that
they don't 'spoil' the neighbourhood - not that they're the most
salubrious districts of London
