Can you accurately guess the shortest walking route from Barham Close HA0 to
Hollycroft Avenue HA9, just by looking at a map? How about the shortest
walking route from Kilburn High Road station to Tottenham Court Road

My general rule of thumb is that in the rush hour then anything less
than a
half a mile is quicker on foot. Anything more is usually faster by
public transport
or car. Unless theres a really bad traffic jam.
