Quite true. Hadn't even thought of that.


I won't sit at a window seat then. Not that that would make an awful lot of
difference, but still.....


Would foam earplugs (such as we bikers wear, but available from Boots,
etc) help diminish sudden pressure waves? (Yeah, you'd need one up each
nostril and to keep your mouth closed too, but you get my drift...)
