Default "The Olympics will be late and over budget"

Well, according to a programme on television last night ("London Inside
Out" or a similar name), the Olympic Delivery Authority or whatever
they're called don't even own all of the land required yet! Right in
the middle of the site is a plot of allotments which, although no doubt
subject to compulsory purchase, has not actually been purchased yet and
would not be purchased until an alternative site has been found for the
evictees - something that is far from being concluded even at this
stage!

Marc.

Not too great a problem really, the main athletic staduium is only used for
about a week, and the allotments could be left in between where the javelin
and discuss land - it would give the stadium that quintessentially British
look and feel surely?
