without the Central Line you would walk to Park Royal station, about 5
minutes from Hanger Lane, then you can change at Hammersmith for H&C
Line although the change requires you to leave the station.


I went to the game via the H&C at Hammersmith as there were no Wimbleware
trains.

Must have missed seeing the team by a matter of minutes.


There might be a bus that goes along the A40. They might even be
running a special one if the Central Line is closed.

Easier would have been for them to get a few minicabs. Surely even
Coventry City can afford that?


I think the problem was traffic, rather than cost.

I got into the ground about five minutes before kick-off, and there were a
lot of people still coming in 20-30 minutes into the game, presumably held
up in traffic.
