The franchise operator's official name is "London Eastern
Railway". They just trade as 'one'.

Thanks, Colin.

Is that an acronym, or meant to stand for something? Like "A right
One", or "The One to avoid if you want to get home in time" or "One
load of inefficient train operators"?

When National Express took over the franchise in 2004, they said that
'one' stood for "Operated by National Express", as well as reflecting
the single management structure for all services from Liverpool Street.
