Any still-in-use signs directing people to Aldwych or Ongar

perhaps? That would beat the 1999 sign by 5 years :-)

There was a discussion here a few weeks ago about line diagrams that
still show Aldwych.

The ones at some District/Piccadilly stations still show the
interchange at Hammersmith as being with the Metropolitan Line.

Any advance on 1990?

Several tube stations still have original tile signs dating back to their
opening about 100 years ago with their original names.

Oh that's different, for historical reasons (eg Mark Lane, Heath Street) it
makes sense to keep it. Now, if it still had those names on a route map
still used on the wall of a tube, that'd be another matter entirely ;-)))
