Or River Cam?
I've only ever heard it called 'The Cam' possibly local useage.

They. There are two tributaries, both called the Cam (or Granta) and Cam
(or Rhee).

According to the Ordnance Survey:
- the branch going through Audley End is the "River Cam or Granta";
- the branch going through Babraham is the "River Granta";
- the branch going through Barrington is the "River Cam or Rhee";
- the branch going beside the radio telescope is not named, but a sub-
branch is labelled "Tit Brook".

According to the 1965 1" Tourist Map of Cambridge,
Cambridge - River Cam or Granta *
Audley End - R Cam or Granta
Babraham - River Granta
Barrington - River Cam or Rhee
** Lords Bridge Station & Bourn - Bourn Brook
Back of Comberton, Tit Brook, joins Bourn Brook just West of the
A603 at Lords Bridge

* between Trumpington & Grantchester; just River Cam by Coe Fen.
