Default IRRS Meeting - "The Remarkable Mr Forbes" by Roger Cromblehome - 20/02/07

IRISH RAILWAY RECORD SOCIETY

A reminder for our next meeting.

PLEASE NOTE THE DATE IS TUESDAY 20TH February and not our usual day a
Thursday....

The Remarkable Mr Forbes" by Roger Cromblehome
Roger has been a passionate enthusiast and modeller of the County
Donegal
Railways for 50 years. Discussions with former CDR railwaymen inspired
him
to tread in the footsteps of the remarkable Henry Forbes and locate
and
document as much of the CDR as possible. Forbes moulded the CDR
according to
his own philosophy and produced a truly great railway - a highly
professional and well organised operation which served its community
magnificently.

Plus "Co. Donegal Railways Companion" by the speaker
on sale at 15% discount ( signed by the speaker)

All meetings are held from 19.00 - 21.45 in the function room of the
Exmouth Arms, 1 Starcross Street , LONDON NW1

The pub is 5 minutes walk from Euston station (west on Drummond
Street , then north on Cobourg Street ).
Food and good beers are available -
see the pub's website (www.exmouth-arms.co.uk).
