Seconded. Out here in rural Buckinghamshire we get a ten minute burst from
Oxford within the BBC local news programme, then the rest comes from
Southampton and Portsmouth. Very relevant - I don't think!


Yes. Given that they have a studio for reporting the Oxford news (even if
that studio is actually in Southampton!), why can't they use it for the full
30-minute programme that comes from the Oxford transmitter? Central TV have
solved the problem of proper local news from the Oxford transmitter, and
from a properly local studio too, so why can't the BBC?
