Default Secret Tube Trains under London?

In article . com,

What about the other golden oldie that the Bakerloo Line *was*
secretly built as far as Camberwell Green in the late-40s?

The sidings at the south end of the Bakerloo were "swung" - with new
siding tunnels being dug - along the route towards Camberwell. While
they don't extend anywhere near all the way, that's probably the origin
of the story.
