Never actually understood this one - why do ticket collectors of the
mainline rail companies insist on clipping the one day travelcards,
especially on the last service home? Clipping it doesn't invalidate it in
any way, as it can be used as many times on that route as you could possibly
want in one day (except rush hour OC), and since it's only valid for one
day, clipping it on the last service makes no difference.
