BBC story basically explaining the extension of PAYG to the Silverlink Metro
routes when TfL take over the services, but why are they suggesting that
this particular station (Walthamstow Queens Road) will be first?
A TfL spokesman said: "In preparation for the start of London Overground
services on November 11, Transport for London is installing Oyster ticket
machines, pay-as-you-go equipment and ticket gates at Silverlink Metro
stations.

Secondly, note how the reporter uses the term 'overground' to mean 'national
rail' in the article, I suggest there will be all sorts of hassle when the
'London Overground' comes into use if the media persist in their current
usage of 'overground' meaning all 'non LU/DLR' services.

And then there is the south London 'Overground Network' too which also
appears to be withering on the vine nowadays...
