As indeed was the practice at Euston and Clapham Common. Nine trains used
to start from Clapham Common on a weekday morning (1916). Presumably this
was three each from the two overrun tunnels (Nos. 1 & 2 sidings) which
were 450 feet long. Euston was smaller, with only 227 feet long overrun
tunnels.
