Default London Windsor Roundtrip with Travelcard

Michael Hoffman schrieb:

is anyone able to tell me if there is an opportunity to go to
Windsor from London by train using a travelcard. Just a hint. Will
be able to help myself once I know which train company to choose.

No. You will need an extension from the boundary of your Travelcard
to Windsor and Eton Central or Windsor and Eton Riverside.

Thanks Michael.
Does that mean, regardless which train company I use, I only have to
pay the fare starting at the boundary of i.e. zone 6 ?

Yes. If you already have a Zone 1-6 Travelcard then you can buy a cheap
day return from Boundary Zone 6 to, say, Windsor and Eton Central. I
believe this will be cheaper than a ticket to Windsor and Eton Riverside.

Outward travel not valid before 09:30. Travel not valid on certain
services departing London Paddington between 1600-1915.

again many thanks Michael,

you helped me alot. Will see which trains will leave from Waterloo
station, as our hotel is around the corner.

Looking forward to visiting your beautiful capital after 27 years again.
