Interesting, when we were having a discussion on (electric) buses and
tunnels [1], Clive Feather posted details from sectional appendices
covering the thamelink route, and they suggested that electrostars were
permitted Blackfriars - Farringdon, but not (Moorgate -) Farringdon -
Kentish Town, for the latter, only 317 and 319 were listed as permitted.
