It would appear that a turntable is going to be added to North Pole
Depot!

I also note that the new eastern access to North Pole is curiously
indirect.

The turntable was a recommendation of a Commons Select Committee, to
replace the existing OOC turntable - presumbaly to turn steam engines
which will be based at North Pole !

The absence of any direct connection towards Paddington is a nonsense,
seeing that quite a lot of charter ECS trains will be heading that way
presumably. Trains will now have to reverse twice, the second time on
one of the running lines.

Also there is no direct westbound connection off the flyover onto the
Greenford line without using the Crossrail lines.
