Default Shepherds Bush station - West London line

Has anyone seen an opening date for this station?

I came through this afternoon and it looked as though all that was needed
now was the sort of cleaning you do after decorating.

The TfL site project page has the opening date down as July 2007 but
I'll be surprised if it opens before 11 November. That said,
Silverlink signs and lots of purple paint rather than the London
Overground equivalents can be found at platform level. Additionally,
there is still a lot of work going on outside the station that appears
to compromise public access, which is another potential reason for the
delay to opening.

Bring it on though - this resident of SheBu will be a regular user,
for one.

There is still no trace of any work for Imperial Wharf.

Indeed not but H&F council is trying to put pressure on the developers
of the surrounding site, St George, to begin construction. According
to one of the local papers a few weeks back, it appears that they have
built 57 more residential units than they were granted permission
for. Cue the brinkmanship - the fight for retrospective planning
permission is on, and it may just take (finally) funding a railway
station at Imperial Wharf to obtain it...
