Default Rumours of Eurostar never stopping at Stratford

Hardly surprising - it couldn't have been used before November this year

Is it true Ashford complained so much that Stratford's opening has
been put back to 2010 at least?

No - It's because Stratford Station is in the middle of building site until
at least 2010. Unless anyone knows different, the Stratford City
development hasn't commenced yet?

What's so wrong with building the infrastructure first anyway? People would
soon complain if it was the other way round, which is usualy the case in
this country..

I understood originally it was planned that Stratford International
opened this year...

No - well, not since a very long time ago. The station is literally in
the middle of a building site at the moment - there is no access to it
by road, conventional rail, Tube or DLR.

It will open once the DLR is connected, probably for Javelin at first
(I'm assuming the sensible plan of referring to the whole CTRL
Domestic service as Javelin, rather than merely the month of Olympic
shuttles, is ultimately adopted).

E*s are likely to begin to stop - dependent on demand, timetabling and
the success of Ebbsfleet -once the surrounding area actually contains
buildings and people, and once the site is accessible by foot and
road.
