You can clearly hear the Victoria Line trains from the Drayton Park

Does anybody have any idea of the depth of the Victoria Line at this
point. Would a Drayton Park Victoria Line station capable of serving
the Emirates Stadium be a better prospect than the £60 million pound
project suggested for Holloway Road?

Not especially deep. However:
1) building a new station would still cost a hell of a lot more than
£60m
2) the Victoria line is already operating at capacity, so a new
station wouldn't be a great idea.

[IMO, walking to FP, Arsenal or Highbury & Islington will do the fans
good]

I didn't realise the Vic line went right under Drayton Park, that's v
interesting - next time I'm there I'll listen out for it!

Regarding your square-bracketed sentiments, I quite agree - when it
comes to access to the Victoria line from the new stadium, the
existing stations at High & I and FP are perfectly adequate. There are
plans for improvements at H&I station and the streetscape around
Highbury Corner (see [1]). Whilst the layout at H&I isn't ideal in
that it deposits punters at the southernmost end of the Vic line
platforms, in practice it works fine on matchdays.

I am blissfully unaware of the matchday situation above ground at
Finsbury Park for fans heading north on FCC, though I'm led to believe
it's not ideal. I'll endeavour to head up there after a match in the
near future.
