Do they have any route knowledge to maintain? As far as I know FCC
have never actually operated into the present St P MML station.

During the blockade to create the station box for St Pancras Midland
City in 2004/2005, services from Bedford terminated at platforms at St
Pancras, not sure which platforms exactly, presumably the same as the
MML ones at the time (and which are to be re-used for CTRL-DS).

Before 1 April 2006 Thameslink services were run by Thameslink
(technically Thameslink Rail Ltd). During the blockade, platforms 8 and
9 were used by Midland Mainline (now Eurostar platforms), platforms 11
to 13 were used by Thameslink (now CTRL-DS platforms), and platform 10
was shared between the two (now a Eurostar platform).

While preliminary Thameslink Programme works take place, First Capital
Connect services from the north will be directed to the MML platforms at
London St Pancras during the weekends between 5 January 2008 and 23
March 2008 inclusive.
