OK, I gotta ask. What on earth is the 'Khyber Pass'?


The Khyber Pass is the paid-side link between the Met/Circle/H&C line
and the deep-level tube lines. It was nicknamed as such because it was a
public passageway before the capacity works at KXSP took place and
therefore it had to cope not only with passengers who wanted to
interchange between both sets of lines but also passengers seeking to
enter/exit the tube network and those simply looking to bypass Euston
Road - basically it had to deal with many people from all directions.
