we were workin in Bath yesterday, on the way back our train was

This all made our day a bit of an epic, is there any point in
complaining, and to who, and is any compensation due?

Para 5.8 - although there is an exception for severe weather, if that was
the problem...

I don't know why the initial train was cancelled, they were saying the
delays were 'waiting for train crew' or some such.

we transferred to swindon and the train we got there was delayed 'due
to a freight train seperating', or words to that effect.

no mention of weather.
