TfL are so pleased with their 'new train set' they have set up a
webcam to cover the ELL bridge installation at Shoreditch High St.

I haven't been able to view this at all and I can't work out why.
The thing buffers up and then I just get a small blank screen.

At first I thought the system might have not been working but it's
still like it today. My computer is relatively new and I wonder if
I'm missing an all-important plug-in or something. Anyone have any
thoughts?

I've had the same experience this weekend until a few minutes ago,
when I went to the TfL site once more. At first I got the small
blank screen like you, but as I scrolled around the page I noticed
that the video had burst into life.

However, it's NOT A LIVE FEED. It's a repeating short clip of
about 30 seconds taken apparently from the cabin of one of the
cranes, i.e. very high up, above the bridge, which itself is still
suspended above its resting place. You can't actually see the
latter, as the camera never pans down far enough. Otherwise it
pans around rather too fast and with too narrow a view.

I've had the same problem as Ian all weekend. I just get a blank box.
