Hinton Road was once part of tram route 48 to West Norwood (and part of
a horse tramway to Tulse Hill before that), but I don't know of any tram
depot in the immediate area. However, there were several junctions in
nearby roads necessitated by single-track running on narrow streets, so
it would have been possible to turn back short workings there, although
I don't know if that actually happened. There's an old photo of the
