Default Any idea what has been going on here and why TfL are upset?

At a guess, it's the use of the TfL name, roundel, and probably the map
as well.

Indeed, the map bearing an intentional similarity to TfL's own spider
maps plus the other factors means TfL have an argument that the
website is guilty of 'passing off' - the author's use of the phrase
"The new official bus map leaflets are out!" hardly helps his defence
case.

Without particularly wanting to get into this yet again, anyone being
'guided' by this maps should be aware that there are now more frequent
ticket checks on these buses than there were in the early days, and
these occur day and night, sometimes with police accompaniment. Anyone
travelling without a valid ticket is thus risking a penalty fare,
prosecution and police attention. My own subjective view from
observing these ticket checks is that there are now fewer people
attempting to fare evade on these buses than there once were.
