Default National Rail season tickets to London terminals

My local station, Ladywell, has just put up notices about next year's
fares. I saw that an annual ticket from Ladywell to London terminals
is charged at £760 (or thereabouts) whereas a Zone 1-3 travelcard is
£1260 or so, quite a significant difference.

My question is, if I buy the £760 ticket, does it only work from
Ladywell to London Bridge/Cannon Street/Waterloo East/Charing Cross,
or can I use it from any Zone 3 National Rail station to London
terminals (e.g. Crofton Park to Blackfriars)? Also, on the return
journey, would you be able to use this ticket and get off at Lewisham,
one stop early, or not?

I have always had a Zone 1-3 card before but I very rarely use the
tube these days so could just get by with Oyster prepay when needed,
if the £760 ticket is slightly more flexible than having to use
Ladywell.
