But surely a driver who is late and/or in a bad mood would just speed
up again before slowing for the end of the platform so what purpose
does it serve other than to delay the train? Also given its the 21st
century couldn't it only work if theres a train in the bay platform?
Theres hardly likely to be a collision if theres isn't not matter
what.
