But the mainline trains seem to be faring worst today so far.

After expecting a normal GN service for today last night, FCC are still
running the two trains an hour each emergency service to Peterborough and
Cambridge plus (new today) an hourly King's Lynn-Royston (so at least
Foxton, Meldreth and Shepreth get a train service back) this morning.

I did notice this report on their web site, though:

"09:06 Cambridge to London Blackfriars due 10:22
This train has been delayed and is now 24 minutes late. This is due to poor
weather conditions."

An early Thameslink programme service!

I also notice they are offering four Thameslink trains an hour from
Bedford, with half going to Moorgate. So soon before closure is this the
most intensive Midland to Moorgate service ever?
