Default London Freedom Passes

Being an old git living in London I have one of these.

Overhearing a conversation in a pub between other old gits they were
saying that they are valid on Green Line services.

I can't find anything online to verify this.

Is it true?

From their website:

http://www.greenline.co.uk/fares-and-tickets/

"Holders of national concessionary bus passes [1] can travel on Green Line
services free of charge after 0930 weekdays and all day weekends and bank
holidays. Additional benefits apply on Green Line 724 for passholders whose
passes were issued in Hertfordshi these passes are valid all day."

[1] what the Freedom pass is when used outside London.

So as a London resident you seem to have have the same eligibility on Green
Line as you would have on any other English 'bus service', ie NOT the 24/7
eligibility you have within London itself.

IIRC the rules were revised in April to differentiate between bus services
and coach services, the latter being those where the majority of seats have
to be booked. Coach services seem not to be part of the national
concessionary scheme.
