Shame there weren't a few more new faces though (not that I had any
problem with the existing ones you understand).
Maybe next time?
I'll try next time - can I suggest though the pub is the Bree Louise by
Euston as it's a proper real ale (rail ale) pub and I get a beer
discount as a CAMRA member...

I just did some research.
My son and I went from Moorgate to Euston; the Bree Louise at the corner
of Euston Street and Coburg/Cobourg Street was unpleasantly crowded at
1800 on Saturday; 2 pints cost 7.20; I got 2.30 change from 10.00; the
barman coughed 0.40 when challenged - b**tard still did me by 0.10; we
returned via the 20 minute Out of Station interchange at Euston Square
to Barbican. YMMV. I prefer the Doric Arch and see no need to visit the
Bree Louise again.
