oh dear ;-)

We did suggestion no.4 a long time ago (Touch and Pass trial years ago).
One of the testers placed the card in a glove and waved his hand over
the gate and walked through. Some american tourists apparently watched
this, walked up to the gate, did the same and then crashed into the gate
paddles.

I once hid a card in a book and thumped the book on the target and
walked through - caused some double takes :-)

One of the best ways of using a contactless card was by an old Chinese
lady in the new territories in Hong Kong. She just put her handbag up
against the reader, beep went her handbag and off she went.
