I'm trying to get hold of some LCD thermometers to stick on wing mirrors so
that a glance will tell me when I have to worry about ice. I have found an
internet source

but since they will probably be stolen from time to time I'd rather know a
shop in London where I can get them. Nowhere in Brent Cross seems to sell
them.

What a good idea! If my cars didn't already have outside temperature
gauges, I'd buy some.

At that silly low online price - £1.38 each - why not buy ten? Not
only are you unlikely to find them at retail shops, you would be even
more unlikely to find them at that low price. So buy a few now, and
you will always have a replacement to hand.
