The UK march agaimst Bush
Yes you did
but if the majority don't want British or American help, then so bit it. But that is not the case, again you foolishly extend the fact that some people are bombing (you don't even know they are Iraqi's), you then come to the conclusion that Iraqis do not want the "allies" there. Look, I believe that, of all the countries in the World, the British are the best equipped to restore some semblance of normality in Iraq. I presume that those with "Stop the war" banners in the demonstrations of which I wrote are demanding the return of soldiers from Iraq - otherwise what are they actually demonstrating for? I am not demanding anything at all - just to be allowed to work and travel in London next week. Maybe the majority of Iraqis want the allies to stay, but if bombing and murder continues, you cannot expect the allies to remain there indefinitley, much as they might wish to. Your postings are weak, full of predjudice and assumptions, any conclusions drawn on these assumptions can not be trusted (c/w Intelligence dossiers). Given that I am not God, I cannot know everything, of course I am weaker than some authorities (maybe even you), we all have prejudices (I have admitted on numerous occasions that I am prejudiced against demonstrations and demonstrators, and that is MY democratic right) and I have as much right to make assumptions as anyone, as I suspect you do too. In Mait001 wrote: Given that I am not God.... ....well that's a start. Assumptions can be either right or wrong. People who are "too busy" to digest the facts are prone to make wrong assumptions. What about you? -- kedron |
