Royal Oak
 

I just noticed that the Royal Oak pub at Porchester Road/Bishops Bridge Road
has changed its name to The Porchester. I cannot imagine the business
benefit of renaming one of the few pubs in Britain to have had a train
station named after it.

Perhaps they are banking on TfL re-naming Royal Oak station to become
The Porchester station.

Doubtful, in Leytonstone the Green Man Roundabout lives on, having never
succumbed to being O'Neills Roundabout!
