New LUL Penalty Fares - Reason Codes

New Penalty Fares came into use on Tuesday. They are slightly larger,
'more' monochrome and come in pads of 50 instead of 25. There is also
a comments box! Highly collectible!

The reason codes have been rationalised. This is the new list:

01 No ticket
02 No ticket (Limited/No TIF*)
03 No ticket (Queue/Rush)
04 No ticket (Advised to pay at end)
05 Lost ticket
06 Ticket not theirs
07 Left ticket at home
08 Out of zone/short fare
09 Outside of time restraints
10 Outside valid dates
11 Oyster not validated
12 Oyster insufficient/negative balance
13 Not valid on LU network
14 Not entitled to discount
15 Other

*TIF: a passenger that you suspect puts tea in the cup before the milk.

Not, presumably, a valid reason for a PF, as the passenger has
received verbal authority to travel which can presumably be confirmed
with the station concerned, no?

You are right... Perhaps if there is a suspicion that the person has
NOT been given permission; but even then, that would be fare evasion,
not a pfn.
