I have this on DVD, won it in a Radio Lincolnshire competition if I remember
rightly!

Well worth a watch

I have this program 3 time 1 PAL VHS, 1 NTSC VHS and on DVD,

- my childhood seems a world away.

Indeed, the events that were current this was recorded, as opposed the historical references, are now themselves history.

No matter how many times I watch Metroland, I always enjoy it.

It's odd to think that the documentary is almost as old now as Metroland
itself was when Betjeman made it.
