The BBC has compiled a set of seven different Underground maps, from
1908 to 2012 which show the evolving network and styles:

When did the intermediate stations between Chalfont and Amersham close?

(Somewhere between 1960 and 1972, it seems).

What intermediate stations? There are none on any of the maps.

Huh? What are you on Roland? There never were any such stations! Are you
confusing yourself with the stations from Amersham to Aylesbury?

The Met stopped serving them when it went all-electric with the
introduction off the A (for Amersham) stock.
