Does anyone know what was causing the cancelations/delays at

Marylebone this
evening ?

There appeared to be no reasons given and their web site said nothing.
There was chaos at one point at Amersham station approx. 7:20 with
police outside - did not stay around log enough to see if the police
were actually at the station or trying to get somewhere else. Anyway,

a
very unpleasant journey home

2 Car Diesel failed at Ricky....

Wrong night - that was Wednesday, the OP posted the original question on
Tuesday! Actually it was a four car 165 that failed at Rickmansworth tonight
(Wednesday), one refurbished unit and one unrefurbished, which refused to
move. Train was terminated and stock moved to the sidings for fitters
attention.
