ROLL (Reopen Lea Valley Line) meeting

Hi all,

According to http://www.roll.dsl.pipex.com/ , there is a meeting tonight
discussing reinstatement the Hall Farm Curve, reopening Lea Bridge Station
and the possibility of introducing regular services from Stratford to Seven
Sisters / Tottenham Hale / Chingford.

The meeting is on Thursday 12th February at the Princess of Wales, Lea
Bridge Road, E5 from 7.30p.m. This is very close to the River Lea itself.

That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line -
It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes

Interesting - let's hope something comes of this after years of false
starts. I note in Transit magazine that the new Anglia franchise
commitments include a regular service via the Lea Valley line to
Stratford. No mention of Chingford as a destination though - just
stations further up the line beyond Harlow.
