They are almost unrecognizable. They look good in green and yellow.

I recall reading they were going to keep the internal design
configuration flexible so things could be changed around easily in the
future, which I guess would explain it.

That was my first thought, but the doorway seems a bit too wide for that.

The sort of services they seem to be aimed at won't need quite such
speedy loading as London so I assume they've actually disabled the inner
two sets of doors each side. Cheaper and, as you say, leaves them with
options for the future.

No. They look terrible.

If the green on the front was black, they'd look good. In fact they'd
look like Darth Vader sucking a lemon, which would be v. good.
