Tube too fast?

Seems if the tube is too fast (obviously this doesn't apply to the piccadilly
line) people commute by car to use it causing road congestion so it should be
slowed down. Right. Got it. Because then all those car drivers will just stay
at home instead.

Apparently the needs of the people who have to commute on the tube regardless
of service levels are irrelevant in this study.

Or cut off Uxbridge, Cockfosters, Morden, Epping etc - their argument is
that where people can connect outside of the centre and then use the
underground to rapidly traverse the centre they will, so either slow
down the tube on the periphery or remove the service entirely....
