Its nice to know the enviroment of millions in west london, the destruction
of 2 villages and a public cost of billions means counts for naught so long as
a private spanish holding company can make a larger profit. If this does go
ahead then Cameron deserves a public flogging.

So if Heathrow were nationalised you'd take a different view of "the
enviroment of millions in west london, the destruction of 2 villages and
a public cost of [even more] billions"?

If it were a national asset there wouldn't have been a 3rd runway campaign
to start with to persuade the gullible idiots in westminster.

Heathrow is quite big enough not only for the above reasons but also because
ATC in the southeast is almost at capacity anyway.

The slick CGI 'impressions' seem to be missing the extra noise and
pollution...

Excellent point... it will never be a nice place to be, outside the
buildings at least.
