Hertfordshire gives TfL useless land to pay for Croxley link
Having already had the Croxley Link project taken away from them and
handed to TfL due to delays and cost overrun, Hertfordshire CC are creatively paying the new project owner some GBP 1.8 million towards their share in derelict land. The land - the Croxley Green branch trackbed - was bought by the council for one pound. Another 900 million is in the supposed value for loan of land for a station car park. http://www.railtechnologymagazine.co...rs-1-wasteland http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthre...26#post2343426 TfL now has a 2.73 million funding gap to find on top of everything else.
