A section of a London Tube line has been closed after contractors drilled a hole through the roof of an underground tunnel.

Central Line services have been suspended between Marble Arch and White City after masonry fell on the track outside Shepherd's Bush station.

Still, all in a good cause - more shops. Hardly any of them around at
the mo.

No excuse for the contractors that it was a non LU-tunnel - the Old
Street area breach was onto the Northern City line, which is Network
Rail's responsibility to safeguard - iirc the contractors had only
checked their plans with LU (something like that).
