(Gresley statue to be unveiled at KX, controversial duck removed, how
long before someone decides to subtlely re-add it?)

I presume that ducks will be added, and removed, and added, and removed
for many months to come.

It is a really good statue, by Hazel Reeves.

And in a parallel universe this "duck" thing would be one of the best
viral marketing campaigns so far this year.

The web is awash with photos of people waving yellow plastic ducks at
Kings Cross, and numerous photos of the statue plus such ducks. Another
has a rather classier wooden duck where the original mallard was
supposed to go.
