Places like the Isle of Man, which really don't generate enough traffic
to make it worth TfL's while to care. City airport is great for people
travelling to or from London, but might as well not exist for all other
purposes.

The DLR link right into the terminal is terrific, and the airport has a
higher ratio of pax arriving by public transport than London's other
airports. People arriving on the northern Crossrail branch can change to
the DLR at Stratford, and the Woolwich connection is not bad for the North
Kent line. There's a direct link to Bank and an easy cross-platform change
to Canary Wharf.

City airport is great for people
travelling to or from London, but might as well not exist for all other
purposes.


As I said upthread, it's a local airport.
