I was in Watford today and couldn't help but notice the large new
construction that was in progress next to Watford Station on the
Metropolitan Line. It looked like either a block of apartments or a
business park.

Swallowed up the pedestrian access to Rickmansworth Road and a lot of car
parking!

What did the area look like before? I saw signs stating that the
Metropolitan Way was shut, but I didn't really explore the immediate
station area very much.

Are the branch plans still on display at Croxley Station? I thought
about getting out, but my feet were hurting, so I stayed on the
train...
