Default London Season Ticket

I need to get an annual travlecard Zones 1-4.

I have heard that if you buy it from a Rail station you can get a discount
the following year, is that true ?

Can I get one from a rail station just for Zones 1-4 ?

Can I get it put on my Oyster ?

My company offers interest free season ticket loan, do most rail companies
accept these ?

My closest station is Charing Cross, would they be able to help ?

Many thanks for your replies.

Yes, usually. Its for when they provide a poor service the previous
year.

Yes

Yes - if you go to a NR station which has a combined NR/Underground
ticket office, run by the NR company. I bought mine from Richmond.

Yes.

Probably not. The underground and NR station are separate with
separate ticket offices.

If your journey primarily involves using the services of a TOC rather
than London Underground,

Why does this matter? I get a discount on my travelcard whether or
not I use it on a NR service. In fact they have no way of knowing
which trains I've used.
